She has been doing Kantha at home since the age of 14. She is the recipient of many awards, she has won the National award for excellence in kantha work in 1988. She is training around two thousand girls under a government scheme. Tussar silk is known for its unique texture, sheen of silk and feel of cotton A perfect blend of both worlds completely suitable for all weathers.
