1. Can you consume anything other than water in this?
It is suggested to limit the usage of copper glasses to only water.
2. For how long can you store water in it?
Water should be stored for at least 6 hours in the tumbler. One should change the water in the tumbler at proper intervals. It is preferable to change the water every 16-20 hours.
3. Does it come with a lid and stand?
Yes, it does.
4. Is the Tap pre-installed?
Yes, the water dispenser comes with a pre-fitted tap.
5. How can I remove the water stains from my Copper Tumbler? What is the best way to clean Brass and Copper utensils?
If you see a lot of water stains on your Copper Tumbler, you can use Pitambari powder to clean them and also to retain shine. Make sure that you use a microfibre cloth to dry off the utensil.
You can use a normal dishwashing soap to clean the utensils from the inside and Pitambari or a paste made from Flour (Atta), Vinegar/lemon Juice, and salt can be applied on the outside to retain the shine of the utensils.
6. What is the best practice for consuming 'Tamra Jal'?
One should drink 1l of 'Tamra Jal' every day.
1. The best time to consume water from copper vessels is at the onset of the morning. Begin your day by drinking water from it.
2. Copper is considered to be one of the best metals for water, but it is crucial to always listen to your body. In case you feel uncomfortable after consuming water from it, stop and try something else.
3. Limit your consumption to 1L a day. It can kill all the microorganisms like moulds, fungi, algae, and bacteria, present in the water that could be harmful for the body.
