Year-Round Blooms:

Flowers multiple times throughout the year with proper care, ensuring a continuous display of beauty.

Versatile Growth:

Suitable for balconies, patios, terrace gardens, and outdoor spaces, thriving in various conditions.

Easy Maintenance:

Requires minimal care, making it an excellent choice for both beginners and expert gardeners.

🌸 Enchanting Flowers & Lush Foliage

Blooming Habit:

The flowers begin to open as dusk falls and remain fragrant throughout the night, closing with the morning light.

Colourful Varieties:

This combo includes a spectrum of hues – white, purple, yellow, red, and orange, ensuring an eye-catching display.

Elegant Leaves:

The glossy, smooth, and lance-shaped green leaves enhance the plant’s overall charm, providing a lush backdrop to its blooms.

Flowering Frequency:

Night blooming jasmine typically blooms five times a year in warm climates, with peak flowering occurring from late spring to early fall. Proper care ensures continuous blooming cycles throughout the season.

☀️ Growing Conditions & Plant Care

Sunlight:

Prefers full sun with at least 6 hours of direct sunlight but can adapt to partial shade.

A combination of morning sun and dappled afternoon light is ideal to prevent overheating.

Temperature:

Thrives best in temperatures between 15°C to 35°C.

Sensitive to frost; avoid exposure to temperatures below 10°C.

In extreme weather, use a shade net or move potted plants to a sheltered location.

Soil:

Grows best in well-draining, sandy, and fertile soil rich in organic content.

For improved growth, mix compost, coco peat, perlite, or vermiculite to enhance aeration and moisture retention.

Ensure that the pot  has adequate drainage holes to prevent water stagnation and root rot.

Pot & Grow Bag Size:

Night Blooming Jasmine thrives in large pots or directly in the ground.

Ideal for 12-15 inch pots or grow bags with drainage holes, ensuring healthy root growth.

Watering:

Water the plant when the topsoil feels dry to the touch.

Avoid overwatering, especially in winters and rainy seasons, as excessive moisture can cause fungal infections.

Watering in the morning or evening is ideal for better absorption and to prevent excessive evaporation.

Fertilisation:

Feed the plant every 3-4 weeks during the active growing season (spring and summer) with organic fertilisers.

Use bio potash for strong roots, bone meal for flowering, and cow dung compost for soil health.

✂️ Pruning & Pest Control

Pruning:

Trim dead or infected branches regularly to maintain the plant’s health and shape.

Prune up to one-third of the plant’s height and width for a controlled, bushy growth.

Cutting back old flowers and stems encourages fresh blooms and enhances fragrance production.

Common Pests:

Susceptible to mealybugs, spider mites, scale insects, aphids, and fungus gnats.

Use neem oil, insecticidal soap, or organic pest control solutions like Metarhizium Anisopliae or Beauveria Bassiana for effective protection.

⚠️ Common Problems & Solutions

Overwatering:

Can cause root rot – water deeply but allow the soil to dry slightly between watering cycles.

Underwatering:

Leads to wilting – check soil moisture regularly and water when the top inch is dry.

Fungal Diseases:

If yellow spots appear on leaves, treat with an organic fungicide and improve air circulation.

Strong Fragrance Sensitivity:

If the scent is too intense, plant away from bedrooms or enclosed spaces.
