In a significant stride for India's digital and creative economy, the Indian Institute of Creative Technologies (IICT) is poised to open its doors for admissions in August, with classes commencing in September. Located on the National Film Development Corporation's premises on Mumbai's Pedder Road, the institute will welcome its inaugural batch of 300 students.

Announced by Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting, Ashwini Vaishnaw, at the World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit (WAVES) in May 2025, IICT is backed by prestigious global partnerships and industry leaders. - Gaming: Six specialised courses.
- Post Production: Four courses.
- Animation, Comics, and XR: Eight courses.
IICT has also forged a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of York, United Kingdom, facilitating collaborative research, faculty exchange, and global certification pathways.
