Moreover, the kalai (tin coating) keeps food safe, the rings on the side make it even more convenient for utility, and it comes with a fitting and elegant lid that helps cook and keep the food warm.

Yes. The tin coating on the Handi makes them non-stick and easy to cook.
2. Is it safe to cook all types of food?
Yes. Handi with tin coating are safe and can be used for cooking all types of food. However, you may not require Kalai for deep frying since fats do not react with brass.
3. When should one get the tin re-coated on the glass?
Since the product is not coming directly in contact with heat, the kalai may last for a year. However, ensure that you clean it properly and do not scratch the kalai while washing.
